Training as a classical stage magician since the age of 11, and performing close-up magic in the clubs of Liverpool and London since the age of 13, have helped Stephen develop his staggering showmanship and phenomenal skill, intermingled with his acute comic style.
He effortlessly blends classical, manipulative, sleight of hand conjuring with quick-wit, self-assured panache and natural charisma, bringing a unique and unparalleled angle to an age-old art form.
Stephen Williams Jr won the title of World Junior General Magic Champion at the Showzam Festival in 2008. Since then he has toured with ‘The Stephen Mulhern Show’ and ‘Tricky TV Live’, and was one of the magicians and presenters in series 3 of the BAFTA award-winning ‘Tricky TV’.
SONY personally flew Stephen to Japan to help develop and star in an advertising campaign for their Bravia television range. He was invited to perform his award-winning act for ‘The Society of American Magicians’ in Atlanta, Georgia; following this, he was requested to be a featured performer for London's exclusive and prestigious Magic Circle, as part of their renowned Christmas shows.
He has consulted on several adverts and television shows, including those for Manchester United and Channel 4’s ‘Shameless’, and is the official magician for the 'Hammond, Clarkson and May Live' (formerly the ‘Top Gear Live’) presenters.
He has also been featured on Richard & Judy and has had Coleen Rooney as his on-stage assistant, which became featured in ‘OK! Magazine.’
Stephen’s incredible stage show, Dexterity, has been directed by Russ Stevens, and is now available internationally.
